I have a small addiction to makeup.  I’m not a super girly girl, but I love lipsticks, eye shadow, mascara – you name it, and I love it.  So I was SUPER excited when I was contacted to do a  Mia Mariu review!  AND they are giving Mama Game readers the chance to win the same products that I got to check out.

I was able to check out three of their products.  The first product that I tested was the Refreshing Foam Gel Cleanser.

When I was younger, I was blessed with nearly flawless and acne free skin.  As I have gotten older, my skin has started to wreak havoc in my life.  Between outbreaks of adult hormonal acne, episodes of rosacea, dry skin in places, oily in others, etc. etc.  my skin drives me NUTS.  On top of that, my skin is super sensitive and I’m allergic to a lot of products.  So many cleansers either dry my skin (especially acne cleansers), or don’t get it clean.  So I have been frustrated for the last couple of years, to say the least.

I LOVE Mia Mariu’s Refreshing Foam Gel Cleanser!  First of all, it got my face clean.  There were no oily spots and it effectively removed all of my makeup.  Second of all, my face felt smoother and MORE hydrated than before I washed it.  And finally, it had this really cool tingly sensation (kind of like oxygen bubbles) that left my face feeling super refreshed.  I had no sensitivities to this product, which is no wonder as it is oil and sulfate-free.  I highly recommend this product!

The next two products that I reviewed were the Multipurpose Eye Color Brush No. 15, which I paired with Mia Mariu’s Mineral Eye Shadow Duo in the Romance De Otono shade.

I tend to favor more neutral shades for work, so this great combo is perfect for me.  Ladies, this eye shadow and brush are no joke.  They glide on super smooth and evenly with no fuss and no trouble.  The eye color brush has the SOFTEST bristles and they just float across your eyelid.  The color goes on perfectly evenly and has some serious staying power.  It stays on for hours with no fading or smudging.

I tested it out on my hand first (as I always do with new cosmetics because of my sensitive skin).  It glided right on.  I tried to smudge it with my fingers, and it would not budge.  Then I rubbed with water to try to take it off.

Even after rubbing with water, you can still see that it retains a beautiful, even tone and color.  I ended up using my makeup remover to get it off my hand.  And even with that kind of staying power, the Mia Mariu mineral eye shadow had no effect on my sensitive skin!

I highly recommend Mia Mariu for all of your makeup and skin care needs!  I am now officially a fan!
